Planning

Do you know what you want but feel stuck in the idea stage of a dream, goal, or project and aren’t sure where or how to start to tackle it? Do you feel like you are constantly chipping away at, but never completing, your goals?

We will organize and prioritize your goals and identify the steps you must take to get there.  We will start at the big picture goal and walk ourselves backwards identifying necessary actions and short-term milestones hat will need to be implemented and achieved along the way. Taking small steps and celebrating the wins along the way helps to build momentum and creates constant progress forward. 

Staying Motivated + Getting Things Done

Are you a person who performs better under deadlines or thrives in a group?  Do you spend more time making your to-do lists than you do checking things off of them? Are you able to be more creative and productive when you have a sounding board to run ideas and strategies by?

I will work with you to set personal deadlines and build measurable milestones into your plans. I will help you stay accountable by following up with you to track your progress. I will also facilitate brainstorming sessions when you are feeling stuck and need to identify and overcome obstacles to progress, and teach you productivity hacks and techniques to reduce stress.  We will work to enhance your focus, motivation, time management, boundaries, and more.

Setting Goals and Aligning with Values

Do you feel stagnant and in need of a change? Are you struggling to make a big decision in your life, such as whether or not you should attend graduate school or re-locate? Are you dreaming about making a career or lifestyle change?

I can help you move from the daydreaming stage into the planning and doing stages. Together we will inventory your personal values, ideas, interests, talents, and aspirations, and get down to the nuts and bolts of your choices and your preferences. This will include brainstorming and mind mapping activities, as well as strategic questioning and mindfulness activities. Once we have identified the best way to move forward, we will set goals, and begin planning.

What to Expect

Each session is different and tailored to the person and topic of focus. A typical session is a loosely structured conversation that utilizes powerful questioning and visualisation prompts. Some sessions also include a creative thinking, problem solving, or mapping exercise.

Before each session, you will receive a pre-session reflection form to complete that summarizes progress, realizations, or new challenges that have arisen since the previous session. Following each session you will also receive a 1-2 page summary that highlights key take aways, action steps, and any maps or tools developed in the session.
